Use the included charcoal basket to section off charcoal for indirect heat, or to cook with infrared heat when paired with the Blaze Kamado Rotisserie kit (sold separately). The lower chamber of the basket works as a chimney starter for use with charcoal starters and other ignition methods. A stainless steel drip pan catches all of those essential drippings for pan gravies and bastes, and can also be used as a water pan for added moisture when smoking.
